Nonprofit Website Design

Kidzu Children's Museum
The Project.

Kidzu Children’s Museum is based out of Chapel Hill North Carolina and, with a focus on STEM education, the arts, child health and emerging literacy, Kidzu Children’s Museum inspires children and the adults in their lives to learn through purposeful play. As a nonprofit children’s museum, website design is a critical component for developing and delivering their brand to parents and schools.

The Problem.

Kidzu Children’s Museum was in need of a total website makeover. The website that they had was not responsive for mobile devices and wasn’t driven toward a particular funnel which would increase their visitors and/or donors. They also did not have an event calendar was was oriented around streamlining their booking for field trips and private parties, their special events, and other programs and camps in their location.

Our Solution.

We were able to build a website that specifically addressed the nonprofit’s website design issues. We developed a funnel-oriented approach prioritizing visitors to the site for the content delivery and then moving donors into the giving funnel from the homepage. We optimized the website for a faster, more inter-operable delivery for mobile users. We integrated an event calendar that includes recurring events.
